Johann Song is a Research Analyst with Environmetrics. He has a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies (Honours in Statistics) from the Australian National University, Canberra.

Johann brings to his role a solid grounding in statistical analysis as well as excellent problem solving abilities. He is has experience managing complex data sets and is able to analyse and extract meaningful data to answer research questions and address clients’ needs.

Given his training in mathematical statistics, Johann is constantly motivated by the prospect of applying advanced quantitative methods in market research, particularly multivariate techniques. This, together with his solid programming skills, allows him to tackle problems of a statistical nature.

He is also skilled in desk research and strategic analysis. One of his strengths is the ability to digest large amounts of information and draw out relevant and specific implications on particular topics.

Johann has a clear and concise style of reporting, and he is particularly competent in integrating textual and graphical explanations to present results clearly.

Since joining Environmetrics late in 2009, Johann has assisted in data collection, analysis and reporting on a variety of projects. He is looking forward to a year of new challenges.
